Homer Sweeney: Irvine, CA, United States; Homer Sweeney was born and raised in San Francisco Richmond District He could always shoot baskets but found it took real guts to stand up at the plate. Many of Homer's sports awards came from playing tennis on the 7th Army European tennis tour in 1954. Homer has been a great supporter of the old Seals, the Giants and the 49ers. He spent over 32 years in education, 18 years in finance primarily assisting families with educational expense planning until he realized that college had become such a big rip off that he did not want to be associated with the industry. Homer's two daughters settled in southern California and he now lives with his wife Barbara of 48 years in Irvine, CA following the Giants on channel 696, Comcast Sports Net Bay Area. Homer enjoys expressing his sometimes strong opinions about the Giants and other sports and for the last decade has written and studied the messages related to the 'Miracle of the Sun' which is 'the greatest mystery of the 20th century'.
